Yesterday was recovery day ride .
I took my b in law, a newb, to Cedarville.
Last week he could only finish half of Rosaryville, that should tell you enough.
Before the ride he's showing me an "app" that he just got for his i-phone.
I don't like Apple products and don't plan on getting a smart phone (cause I'm too cheap to pay the data plan) so I politely looked at it for minute than said lets ride.
He emailed me the results this morning though and I am impressed.
It tracked our ride just as well as my garmin 60cx could have and gave impressive stats.
Heres the link for the site with the data.
I know it's old news to alot of people, I don't wanna hear the comments now about the "old man" still living in the 80's. I knew about the apps but didn't realize they were that detailed or so easy to use.
You can see on the track too, where he got tired and we bailed to the road.......maybe its not such a great little app.
Upcoming weekend and I'm already stressing about what ride to do.
Its gotta be at least 3 hours and have some training value. I'm trying to play catch up with everybody else who's been riding for the past 6 months.
I don't know if I can keep this up till September.
