Drug test and the trainer.

Went and filled out the employment forms at my future employer and met a couple of the guys I’ll be working with.
The company requires everybody to get a drug test.
The guy asks me if I have a problem with that.
I say " Which ones"?
He then starts to tell me which drugs they test for, I had to stop him and explain that I was only joking.
I hope the other guys have a better sense of humor than him.
The drug test itself was interesting.
I guess most of the clientele of the testing center are there for court ordered tests.
As the receptionist is rattling off instructions she asks "When was the last time you were here?"
I felt like telling her " I have a job and do not use drugs. I just look like a vagrant."
They take this shit seriously.
You wash your hands (without soap), empty your pockets, take off any jacket, and you have 4 minutes to give your sample.
I was told too that if you flush the toilet in the room your sample wouldn’t be accepted.
What the hell is that about?
On the bike front,
no real riding this week, just the trainer.
I’ve been pre-occupied with going over the reference material I got for the new job to learn the material.
I won’t have any problem with it, I just want to get it out of the way.
Hopefully with spring about here the trainer time will be cut down but I think I’m going to change the way I’ve been working out.
Instead of pushing the time I’m on it , I’m going to keep the time to an hour and try to push the pace a little each time.
Face it, the trainer is boring as shit and I don’t think going slow for a long time is doing a lot.
I started Friday night.
One hour-15 miles.
I pushed my average up from 13.4 mph.
Sweated like a damn pig though.
Atleast my ass didn’t feel too bad though.

I used to have to drug test frequently as a long haul truck driver! I decided "Piss on it!""::GRIN::
