Cedarville.
Yeah, surprise-surprise.
Got a quick ride in before I had to get home.
Did 2 loops of the yellow trail.
13.3 miles.
I wasn’t impressed with the mileage but I was rolling.
The weather was still nice but the trails were pretty empty.
Sunday afternoons must not be a popular time for riding.
The cleaning must have taken care of my chain suck problem.
I can use the whole cartridge again without her locking up.
I’ve been getting cocky.
I’ve been rolling along out here, beginning to think that I’m something.
I know that once I get the nerve to get back to Rosaryville I’m going to be crying.
Cedarville gives you lots of chances to spin and rehab.
I’m thinking of giving Rosaryville a shot sometime this week.
It’ll have to be an easy run.
I’m not sure how I’ll be able to handle some of those ravine crossings.

Hey Tommy.
Some of the Rosaryville ravine crossings are a little better.... they've been bridged. Others will never be better until they are bridged. There is so much horse traffic there, that crossings like the first one that you get to going clockwise, will always be chewed up and sloppy. Tis the nature of the beast, I guess.
I think you're better off at Rosaryville than you are at Fountainhead. If the roots at Cedarville are causing you grief, the roots and rocks at Fountainhead won't be much better.
I know you're getting stir crazy. It is amazing how much good riding you're doing. It sounds like you're coming back strong.
Keep up the good work!
Pete
OK....FINE MOTHER.
I'll hold off a little on FH.
Damn people and their sensible reasoning.
I think you just don't want me making a move on SG.
SEEya and thanks
I've read here about how the female nurses and physical therapists react to that biker butt of yours. ;)
But seriously... I don't mean to sound like Mom or anything. I've made some bad decisions about when to come back after an injury. As tough as it is to stay mellow in your riding, it is 1000 times worse if you re-injure something and have to stay off longer.
The reason I'm talking like this is that I hear a bit of doubt in your writing about whether you should be doing bigger stuff. Ultimately the choice is yours. Who the hell am I anyways.
I think you'll KNOW when it is time to come back and try more challenging terrain.
Keep up the good work. Hopefully I'll be back leading some rides soon too. I've been off from that for a few weeks (with a one exception).
Take care,
Pete
