I found this video of a 100 mile "MTB" race that's held in Leadville every year.
This is what they consider technical?
No wonder it has over 1500 participants.
Any roadie who has ever been on a gravel road could do this.
They have balls to call this a Mountain Bike Race.

Its the "lance" factor he is a dousce, Elevation plays a big role in that race but its still weak. Travis Brown did it on a drop bar 29er. Aka cross bike.
