Knee news, I didn't screw it up.

Ever since a ride a few weeks ago at Schaffer farms I've been worried sick that I had messed my operated knee up. I didn't want to say anything until I knew something, but I took a spill over onto the bad leg. It didn't hurt at the time but its felt funny.

I had a scheduled doctor appt this morning and everything is normal. Its about a week short of the 5 month mark. I let the doc know I'd given up on PT about 5 weeks ago. I've been getting as much if not more exercise than they were giving me at PT.

His latest instuctions. He wants me to start light jogging with the brace. I havent broken into any form of jog in over 6 months. So tonight I jogged up and down my driveway 5 or 6 times. Of course I had the 8 year old daughter there for moral support,"I can walk faster than this Daddy". The little shits lucky I couldn't catch her.

It wasn't pretty and I didn't like it at all. I'm lucky my sport of choice is cycling.

I go back and see him in a month. I think they test the strenghth of the bad leg to the good and if its strong enough, than you get a sports release.

I really don't care. I'm MTBing with the brace, so I'm happy.
